CPL Harold E. Moseley and PFC Alfredo Lopez

Bravo Battery

Killed in Action 10 September 1968

Remembrance by then Captain Mark Swearengen

LTC (retired) US Army

I had been to the Memorial Wall in Washington, DC and made an impression of the names of Harold Moseley and Alfredo Lopez, both killed 10 September 68 when a round hit the communications bunker.  I sent the impression and photos to Moseley's nephew.

I later located a relative of Alfredo Lopez in Kyle, Texas and sent similar mementos to his family.

In both cases I told them how I remembered both as good men, that I was fortunate to have known them, and that I did not forget them.

I felt honored to make the visit to the Wall in tribute to those two young men who served so well in our B battery.
