Funeral for retired Sergeant Wade O. (Tommy) Tucker will be in Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Sergeant Tucker died in the Fort Sill Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Burial with military honors will be in the Fort Sill Post Cemetery.
Sergeant Tucker retired from the military in September of 1973.
Sergeant Tucker was awarded the following medals during his service to our country:
National Defense Medal
Vietnam Service Medal
Vietnam Campaign Medal
Bronze Star
Army Commendation Medal with "V" Device for Valor
Good Conduct Medal, Fifth Award
After retiring from the Army, Sergeant Tucker was employed with Civil Service at Fort Sill in the Medical Supply Branch, being medically retired in 1978.
Sergeant Tucker was a four-time past commander of the American Legion Post Number 29.
