Trip to DC,

OK here is what I am going to do and the dates.

I am going to be in DC on September 10 to check into a hotel.  I will be checking out Saturday September 13 to head home probably early in the morning.

Just not sure where yet but will let you know as soon as I can.  I know this is sudden and on the weekends you cannot talk to anyone.

Congress is out of session I think beginning September 24, so we do not have much time.

There were some in the area that said they would drive in and help us canvas the hill and some said they wanted to come in and join us.  I just do not know where yet.  In any case safe to say those that may have the ability to fly in the airport closest to downtown whatever that name is.

Kurt is taking care of the flyers and will take over the one I want to do on issues that must also be addressed.

I will have to act fast here, as I want to make a CD or DVD almost like a physician’s desk reference with index. Only with herbicide facts.

Such as:

For Maternal versus Paternal defects associated to herbicide exposures SEE CD folder name Birth Defects.

Then in that file have the data such as government entity deleted data of a double increase in birth defects found in Ranch Hand as stated by former Senator Tom Daschle.

Testimony before congress in 2000 when Dr. Albanese (principle Ranch Hand Scientists) stated he compared the VA study of Maternal Birth Defects that were awarded conveniently not associated to herbicides but Service in Vietnam only and it was almost identical to what was found in Paternal Birth Defects from the Ranch Hand Dioxin Study.  Then called it a tragedy.

Sub tier to that; the studies on the persistent and on-going chromatid damages found using the same protocol testing as radiation testing and genetic damages.

Another example would be:

For all site cancer data compared to specific cancer sites associated to herbicides see CD folder name Dioxin and All-Site Cancers with Comprehensive Analytical and Study Data Results.

Anyway you get the idea.   It is time they got the real data.  So no one has any excuses as to what has gone on.

I would also need input from other researchers on folders you want to add “with a title to go on the index.”  Such as all the Parkinson’s disease research that has been done by Alan and Steve.

We need the Blue Water studies in a folder also if nothing else for posterity.  I will add what I can but the real data is with those fellows and the Australian scientists.

Now you know one of the flyers addresses the Korean Herbicide dates and the disparity between the congressional bill for civilians that worked on the DMZ as contractors and what DoD applies and VA uses for Veterans.  For civilian AO damage it is 1967 to 1971 and for the Veteran it is sometime in 1968 to sometime in 1969 only.  At least for presumptive exposures.  I know; it makes little if any sense other than Veterans can do little about the disparity.

Now that does not mean that someone that served up there in 1965 and can prove they were exposed then presumptive issues no longer apply some Vets forget that.  If you have proof like say Kurt did in his Thailand exposure then you have a case, it is just not presumptive.

Now there was a Korean DMZ group at one time that I lost track of that indicated they had AO in 1965.  If they have that evidence and want to submit that also on this CD then that should be included.   However, the evidence must be objective and not subjective; to do otherwise would only hurt their case.  Now since we know that Laos and Cambodia started Ranch Hand missions in 1964, denied by DoD for decades, I have no doubt there was AO on the Korean DMZ in 1965 and other areas when one considers the DoD logic at that time.  They just have to prove it.  If anyone knows that group please contact them and let them know we need their data for submittal.

Sorry but that is all the information I have at the moment and will try and finalize tomorrow sometime.

The dates as far as my personal trip I will be in DC on the 10th sometime.  Canvas as much as I can of the VAC first - on the 11th and the 12th.

I think we will have enough flyers and CD's for the Senate VAC and the House VAC but we need to take a few more so those that are active on those dates can take copies to their personal representatives and senators of their district and state.
